John has aligned …
John has aligned himself with “end times” preachers: John Hagee & Rod Parsley who advocate all out war with the Islamic world. I see little in the teachings of Christ to support their position. Their scriptural references often ignore context and require suspending belief in important Christian principles. Either John believes that we must wage war on Muslims or he is unaware of theology of the very ministers he has aligned with. Either way…it is very Scary and not very Christian.

It’s an uplifting …
It’s an uplifting story, regardless of which side of the “fence” you are on. To see a Christian serving another when he (the guard) put himself in danger is always admirable and touching. The atrocities the McCain went through as a POW are obscene. To try to think he’s anything but a real hero is ridiculous. I would speculate that many of us could not have survived with as much dignity.

“It occurs to me …
“It occurs to me that John McCain is as intellectually shallow as our current president. When asked what his Christian faith means to him, his answer was a one-liner. “It means I’m saved and forgiven.” Great scholars have wrestled with the meaning of faith for centuries. McCain then retold a story we’ve all heard a hundred times about a guard in Vietnam drawing a cross in the sand.”

Jack Cafferty

I agree with Jack. McCain is a shallow, incapable egomaiac, just like Dumbya.

is it just me or …
is it just me or did everyone else miss the part where he said he had a chance 2 return home b/c of his father? pow’s (real ones) dont get a “choice”!

chukmaty at first I …
chukmaty at first I liked Huckabee but his conseervatism is solely social plus electability is something huckabee lacks, McCain according to all polls will defeat Hillary or Obama,a smart vote: John McCain.

McCain has a great …
McCain has a great personality, and he is a war hero in a sense even though I believe that the Vietnam War was a complete mistake. Unfortunately, McCain has sold his soul to the Big Corporations and Lobbyists. This is why he is contradicting himself from what he said the first time he ran. Don’t trust corporate candidates, my friends.
Vote for Ron Paul. God bless you all.

To all McCain …
To all McCain supporters who want to help him by convincing republicans, I suggest yuo make them watch ‘Faith of My Fathers’ The John Mccain Story. That we’ll do it.

He is very …
He is very conservative compared to many other Republicans.

Just because something es off Republicans does not mean that it is against conservative values. Republicans break with conservative values constantly.

McCain is conservative. Not mistake free, but a great man. It is him or Huckabee for me.

Kerry was a hero in …
Kerry was a hero in Vietnam. What he did afterwards in slandering his brothers in arms was disgusting. But to say that he was less than honorable in combat is to perpetrate the same sin he committed.

The swift boat smearing hurt a lot of people and it damaged the Republican parties reputation.

McCain voted down a …
McCain voted down a bill that would have given Washington DC a seat in the house. He voted to take away citizens rights, and limit their representation. This guy is an hole, and I personally can’t wait until his sorry loses horribly.

John McCain employs …
John McCain employs Ed Failor on his staff. Ed Failor sponsored a debate for Iowans for Tax Relief but excluded Ron Paul. Conflict of Interest? Ron Paul has voted against more taxes for his entire career! Why would he be excluded for that?

Whether or not I …
Whether or not I agree with the man on all fronts politically, I can’t help but put some trust in him after all that.

McCAIN ‘08!!

Thank you Senator …
Thank you Senator McCain. You are a good man, with depth of heart. I support one of your competitors for the nomination, but this helps me see I would be happy having someone of your maturity and wisdom in the white house. Our country would be in good hands indeed if more Americans who have suffered — and overcome through faith — were in Washington. Best of luck to you!

Wow you a really a …
Wow you a really a dumbass if you think McCain is far-right. We’re talking about the guy that enacted huge campaign finance reform that ed of Republicans, the guy that voted against Bush tax cuts, opposes constitutional ban on gay marriage. Get your facts straight and your head out of your . You wouldn’t have lasted a day in that Vietnamese prison he spent five years in.
