		<description>I assume you have physical Share Certificates ... all Shares are now traded &#039;electronically&#039; (Share Certs. are no longer issued) ... very few Brokers now accept Certs.

I&#039;m going to guess you will have to go to your Bank .. even so they are likely to charge you £25 to process each Certificate ..

All UK shares are traded via the Stock Exchange .. enter the Company name in one of the on-line quote systems for some idea of the Share value (for example, see below)&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/company-a-to-z</description>
