FOREX Training | FOREX Trading - December 13, 2006

The FOREX market was pointing down just before the New York open, but it would have been dangerous to short just before Retail Sales data was released. Sure enough, it gave the dollar strength and the EUR/USD fell. Support was estimated at 1.3200 and held several times… even on the retest after a pull back. It was a solid support area, as it was also near the M1 Pivot Point. Live FOREX Training | EVERYDAY! http://www.fxbootcamp.com

FOREX Training Video - October 27, 2006

Fibs and pivots really came together today. They helped with direction, entry and exit. What more could a FOREX trader want? We traded GDP technically, even though its a fundamental annoucement. We used 5 minute candles to identify support and resistance, then traded the high probability breakout. Price busted through the fib extensions and then hit a brick wall right at the M4 reversal pivot point, just as we discussed an hour in advance. What more could a FOREX trader want?

The day started with a great USD trade and ended with a great CAD trade. A good day indeed. The market must have read the textbook! We waited and waited for confirmed currency correlation between the majors with a break of the 200 EMA across the board. Pivots and Fibs helped find the target. The CAD trade, based on the oil report, was a great 38.2% retracement to 161.8% extension for the CAD/JPY. The USD/CAD hit the S1 and stopped at the same time we were topping out on the other pair. Beautiful.

The forex uptrend was still in place, but showing signs of weakness. Retracement is becoming more and more possible. MACD Divergence, rejection at a Reversal Pivot Point, a 61.8% Retracement and a Triangle break eventually all pointed down. Target was the 138.2% Fibonacci Extension which over lapped with a Support Pivot Point.

Today is election day in the USA. Not a typical day. Be careful, this means that our normal analysis may not work as well. Look for several confirmations before jumping in! Today we saw a triangle break, a fib break, a brief retracement and boom… a continuation to the 261.8% fibonacci extension. Full currency pair correlation between the majors as well. It turned out to be an ok trading day after all… even if you were a conservative and patient trader. Live FOREX Training | Everyday http://www.fxbootcamp.com
